I graduated Westmont College with a BS in physics cum laude and minors in mathematics and music in May of 2009. I am currently working as a tutor with a mind to apply to PhD programs in astrophysics in the fall. My area of greatest interest is theory; black holes, cosmology, etc., although I am nowhere near anything remotely resembling competence in the subject. If all goes according to plan, I’ll be in grad school a year from now, and if I had only a nickel for each time it didn’t, I could pay off my undergraduate loans.
I believe in redemption through Jesus Christ and I call myself a Christian; consequently the viewpoints espoused in these essays ought to give that impression. As always, conversation is welcomed about my beliefs. Some of the areas of greatest interest to me are the intersection of my faith as a Christian and my various academic pursuits, be they science, music, or otherwise.
